The 2026 Rafih Executive Golf Outing at Lakewood Country Club

Originally planned for June 22, heavy rain left parts of the course under water, forcing a reschedule despite our "rain or shine" approach to the outing. Fortunately, August 17 delivered ideal weather for a fantastic day on the links. The outing raised crucial support for the Friendship Animal Protective League of Lorain County, made possible by player registrations, donations, and generous sponsorships from Reynolds & Reynolds, North Olmsted Collision Center, Qahwah House, Automotive Mastermind, Shinto, Huntington, Driving Dealer Performance (DDP), Non-Stop Maintenance Inc., and Petitti Garden Centers.

The afternoon began with lunch before a 12:30 PM shotgun start for the four-person scramble. Teams competed for first- and second-place overall finishes, while individual contests challenged players with Closest to the Pin (holes 5 and 9), Longest Putt (holes 7 and 14), Longest Drive (hole 15), and Closest to the Pin in Two (hole 18). The grand prize Hole-In-One, however, remains an elusive white whale for another year.

After completing their rounds, golfers relaxed over cocktails while taking part in the 50/50 raffle and silent auction, followed by a sit-down dinner and awards banquet. Check out all of the photos from the 2026 outing below!
