The advanced German engineering that Mercedes-Benz is regarded for is displayed in each of the GLE’s trim levels. Under the hood of the GLE 350, a turbo four-cylinder engine produces 255 horsepower. This engine pairs with a 9-speed automatic transmission, and it features rear-wheel drive. The GLE 450 4MATIC® comes with a more powerful engine. This is a 375-horsepower, turbo six-cylinder unit. It features the same automatic transmission and has standard 4MATIC® all-wheel drive.
Appearance
The 2025 Mercedes Benz GLE has a regal yet contemporary style with precision sculpting across the side panels and a tall, arched roof. The gently sloping hood makes a statement with its three defining lines. The wide grille is immaculately designed with chrome columns and flared sides. Below the grille, the compact bumper and triangular air inlets are framed by a metallic accent. The headlights complete the look with a series of LED bars and bulbs. The GLE 350 and the GLE 450 4MATIC® are comparably equipped on the exterior. Both have a power liftgate and 19-inch wheels.
