Service Technician
Mercedes-Benz of North Olmsted is seeking full-time service technicians with a minimum 2-year CURRENT automotive tech experience. This job will challenge your abilities to service Mercedes-Benz and other premium brand vehicles and the most sophisticated product in the market today. Must be 21 yrs of age or older with a clean driving record. Multiple positions available. Only serious applicants with required requirements apply.
Job Requirements
Must have a minimum of minimum 2 year current automotive experience

Job Duties – Responsibilities – Skills
- Basic routine maintenance (A & B Services)
- Oil changes
- Tire rotation
- Brake inspections

- Isolating the systems or components that might have caused the problem.
- Maintaining efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles.
- Inspection, repair, replacement of parts like hoses, belts, plugs, fuel systems, brakes, and other possible troublesome items.
- Using power tools like pneumatic wrenches in order to remove bolts easily and quickly.
- Using common hand tools like screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers, to work on small-scale parts.

Parts Driver
Summary:
Delivers and picks up parts and equipment for the dealership.
Essential Duties: but not limited to this list.
- Picks up and delivers parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
- Checks with the parts manager, wholesale representative, inventory control administrator, parts counter staff, or shipping and receiving clerk before leaving to coordinate any last-minute pick-ups or deliveries.
- Checks with the body shop each day to determine immediate parts needs.
- Delivers parts to the body shop when needed and distributes them to the appropriate body technicians.
- Verifies that the invoice matches the purchase order for each pick-up.
- Checks payments received against the invoices for each delivery.
- Keeps an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups and requests the recipient’s signature for each delivery entry.
- Unloads the truck each night and turns in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
- Performs basic truck maintenance, including filling the gas tank, checking oil levels, keeping it clean, and ensuring required inspections are completed.
- Advises the parts manager if delivery trucks require major repairs or maintenance.
- Helps maintain the professional appearance of the parts department.
- Assists the service department as needed with responsibilities related to managing the drop-off and pick-up of customers’ vehicles.
- Helps with stocking and posting orders upon arrival to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts.
- Maintains a professional appearance at all times.
Fleet Coordinator
Job description:
The Service Fleet Coordinator responds to the needs of our clients, sales managers, and service advisors. A friendly voice coupled with a “can do” attitude and a driven commitment to complete customer satisfaction are required skills to succeed in this role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Acts as a hands-on, highly responsive customer advocate.
- Listens to clients and promptly addresses customer needs.
- Works in a team-oriented culture, interacting frequently with service department personnel to ensure customer needs are met as soon as possible.
- Manages a fleet of loaner vehicles.
- Inspects loaner vehicles for damage after each return.
- Ensures loaner vehicles are properly fueled.
- Monitors and maintains appropriate charging levels for vehicles.
- Maintains cleanliness of all loaner vehicles.
- Tracks mileage for loaner vehicles and determines when vehicles should be retired from the fleet.
- Works with the sales manager when new fleet loaner vehicles are needed.
- Serves as a coordinator for the service team.
- Schedules valet pick-up appointments.
- Coordinates the return of client vehicles upon service completion.
- Communicates directly with clients, service advisors, and team members to ensure a smooth process from start to finish.
- Clearly communicates expectations to clients and team members.
- Engages customers through outbound phone calls, email, chat, and text communications.
- Demonstrates outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Multitasks quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Mercedes-Benz Sales Consultant
Our sales consultants are responsible for all aspects of the car sale from lead generation to car delivery. They are expected to have a great understanding of the product and be able to articulate product specifications to the customers.
Requirements
- Exhibit high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Keep abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to customers
- Know and understand equity and values, and is able to explain depreciation to the customer
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Job Responsibilities:
- Approaches, greets, and offers assistance or direction to every customer entering the dealership showroom or sales lot.
- Assists customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
- Fully explains product performance, application, and benefits to prospective clients.
- Describes all optional equipment available for customer purchase.
- Offers test drives to all prospects, following dealership procedures to obtain proper identification prior to the test drive.
- Establishes personal income goals consistent with dealership productivity standards and develops strategies to meet or exceed those goals.
- Attends product and sales training courses as requested by the sales manager.
- Writes complete sales orders and processes paperwork in accordance with established dealership policies.
- Prepares sold vehicles for customer delivery prior to the customer’s arrival.
- Delivers vehicles to customers, ensuring they understand operating features, warranty coverage, and all related paperwork.
- Introduces customers to service department personnel to emphasize the quality and efficiency of available service repairs and maintenance.
- Follows up on all post-delivery items, including tag/title work, “we-owes,” and special requests to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Maintains an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and enhances customer satisfaction.

Lot Porter

Job description and responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Drives dealership vehicles and customer cars to designated areas
- General cleanup of vehicles
- Maintain lot and sidewalks
- Move inventory around.
- Keeps new and used vehicle lots neat, clean, and organized as directed by management.
- Provides transportation when needed
- Must be alert of traffic flow on the lots.
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report all accidents to a manager.
- Accurate paperwork
- Assist transporters
- Keep showroom cars clean and wiped down.
- No keys are to be unattended at any time.
- All keys get returned to key box
- Be mindful of the small details
- Other duties may be assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have a valid driver license in the state that you will work
- Must have a good driving record
- MUST be able to operate both standard and automotive vehicles.
- Must be able to work full time, weekends, and holidays.

Service Porter
Summary:
Maintains a safe, clean working environment for all dealership employees and customers.
Essential Duties but not limited to this list:
- Cleans service and customer areas.
- Performs routine building maintenance in a manner that minimizes interruption to customers and employees.
- Washes all windows, glass doors, and glass panels throughout the service area.
- Mops, vacuums, and cleans the service waiting area, offices, technicians’ locker room and lunchroom, hallways, and shop bathrooms.
- Sweeps technician stalls, service department areas, hallways, and vending areas.
- Cleans all signs, posters, service signs, mirrors, fans, and vending machines.
- Maintains hot beverage areas by cleaning counter surfaces and related supplies as needed.
- Cleans bathrooms and restocks paper supplies as needed.
- Cleans driveways and sidewalks, removing debris as necessary.
- Cleans and maintains power equipment.
- Empties and cleans all trash receptacles, both inside and outside the facility.
- Maintains cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Cleans oil storage tanks according to established procedures.
- Removes old scrap parts from the shop after confirming with the parts manager.
- Assists technicians with oil and water spills and empties drain tubs as needed.
- Runs errands as directed by the foreman or Service Manager.
- Understands and complies with OSHA Right-to-Know and all other applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintains a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Uses proper eye, hand, and body protection when handling products that require protective equipment.
- Moves vehicles to and from the service line.
- Vacuums and cleans customer vehicles as directed.
- Inspects vehicles in the service drive as directed.
- Helps maintain a clean and organized work area, department, and dealership.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Internet Sales
Summary:
As an Internet Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for monitoring internet leads and providing client follow-up. You must be a customer-service oriented individual with excellent organizational skills in order to manage incoming customer leads. All applicants must be comfortable making phone calls and emails to prospective clients on a regular schedule.
Essential Duties but not limited to this list:
- Monitors and responds to internet leads from the dealership website, dealer groups, manufacturer platforms, and third-party sites.
- Determines each customer’s vehicle needs by asking questions and actively listening.
- Learns, understands, and adheres to established call and email scripts.
- Sets and confirms appointments and follows up on all shown or missed appointments.
- Gathers necessary information for out-of-state customers and provides requested details in a timely manner.
- Meets with sales managers and the director to review objectives, planned activities, performance results, and analyses.
- Follows up with clients connected to the dealership to support ongoing business development.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
