What’s New for the 2025 Mercedes-Benz EQS Sedan?
Mercedes-Benz introduced the stunning EQS Sedan in 2022, offering elite drivers with a spacious, luxurious EV option. In 2025, this opulent model has been elevated to a higher level with several improvements. These improvements enhance the sedan’s capabilities, features, and style.
For 2025, the EQS Sedan now has a larger, 118-kWh battery, which boosts the range. Updates to the regenerative braking system also support a longer range. Now, the battery range is between 345 miles and 352 miles. Four electric motor systems are available. The entry-level trim has a single motor that produces 255 horsepower. The two mid-level trims have a dual-motor design that generates 355 horsepower and 536 horsepower respectively. The top trim also has a pair of motors and puts out 649 horsepower. Additional mechanical features include an adaptive suspension system and rear-wheel steering.
On the exterior, the 2025 EQS Sedan’s grille gets a posher look. The new style includes a three-bar design along with a standing hood ornament. The chrome bars also accessorize the air vents. The triangular headlights spin off of the grille and are styled with an upper LED bar as well as several additional LED elements. The innovative wheel design includes chrome trim, and this trim also adorns the lower door panels, door handles, and window trim.
Inside, the cabin now has contrasting pipe adorning the pillows for the rear seats and additional chrome accents. If you opt for the Executive Interior package, which is only available with the Pinnacle trim, your EQS Sedan also now comes with a folding front-passenger seat and reclining rear seats.
Features that are offered in both the 2024 and 2025 model years include leather upholstery, rapid heating seats, soft-close doors, a power liftgate, a panoramic glass roof, power-adjusting rear seats, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 17.7-inch Hyperscreen, a 12.3-inch passenger display screen, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto®, an integrated augmented reality navigation system, a head-up display, a rear-seat entertainment system, and numerous additional features.
